Incestophilia is defined as attraction to incest (relatives being romantically and/or sexually involved). Incestophilia does not necessarily imply attraction to own relatives; for instance, a subtype of this paraphilia, aegoincestophilia means specifically attraction to incest that one is not involved in.

Notice that, although consanguinamory and incestophilia are defined differently and do not always coincide, a lot of creators and those who collect and distribute symbology do not differentiate between them.
