Summary

Negative attractions flag by Pappy.

Negative attraction is an attraction that stems from negative feelings such as hate, fear, disgust, disrespect, annoyance and other similar things, or is conveyed through negative feelings or desire to act harmfully.

Meanings:

There are two overlapping layers of meanings to the flag.

First, there is the general shape. The upper half of the flag stands for positive feelings and attraction, and the lower one represents negative feelings and repulsion, and the black stripe crossing the line between the bottom and the top represents negative turning into positive, the same idea that the symbol in the middle represents. One may also notice that the top and the bottom colors are flipped and inverted in relation to each other.

Additionally, there is individual symbolism to the colors that is independent from the description above. Each color has a positive and a negative meaning, to represent the duality between good and bad feelings, as well as attraction and repulsion that is characteristic of negative attractions:

* Yellow - light and joy, but also sickness, weakness and disgust.
* Pink - love and care, but also pain, annoyance and aggression.
* Black - repulsion, but also dark desire.
* Teal - respect and independence, but also contempt and anxiety.
* Dark indigo - intimacy and wisdom, but also hate and fear.
