"I wanted to try my hand at coining a paraphile flag & identity!
This one is called sentiophilia. It’s an umbrella term that encompasses all attractions to sentient beings; so it includes zoophilia, MAPness, gender-based attraction, etc.
I created this term to serve as a contrast to attraction involving things that are not sentient, such as sensations, objects, body parts, situations, dynamics, places, things, etc. Although there are certainly exceptions-- if you are attracted to fictional sentient objects, for example, you might called yourself a sentio-objectophile! “Sectio-“ can be an add-on for attractions to things that are not usually sentient; for example, if a necrophile is attracted to sentient animated corpses or zombies, they might call themself a sentio-necrophile!
